The
white area between the gray crushed stone and the remaining
section of the brick patio is the foundation for the
new back wall of the Barn. The large opening in the
closest concrete wall is for our pallet lift that will
be able to move full pallets from one level of the Winery
to any other. There was a running design change that
resulted in a chunk of that opening getting poured then
cut out with a saw. If anyone wants the piece they cut
out, it's a slab 27" wide, 152 3/4" long and
about 11 1/2" thick. Estimated to weigh 4,500 Lbs.
it's priced to move at FREE to the first taker.

Here's
that opening from the other side, with the steel forms
used to cast the walls in the foreground. Notice the
door from the Barn that used to lead onto the deck.
A month or so from now, the first floor will be there.e.

Three
months ago, the wooden deck would have been centered in
the frame. This is looking north from in back of the barn
in the brick patio area.

This
view shows a view across the main room of the Winery
looking Northeast through the lift opening.
|
Another
view of the cellar floor. There's room for a basketball
game.
|
This
is from inside the cellar. The floor is very similar
to the floor in our current Winery.
|

To get from the cellar to the upper levels there will
be a zig-zag staircase built into a short silo. |
